ABOUT THE ARTIST
GHOST
Emily Gray, artistically known as Ghost Flower, is a London-based abstract expressionist painter. Her unique style blends surrealism with dynamic action painting techniques, involving bodily movements in harmony with her brushstrokes. Emily's journey with art began in childhood, serving as an unwitting yet profound form of therapy. Her work, deeply rooted in psychology, is a vibrant exploration of the unconscious mind and raw emotion.
A holder of an Art and Design Extended Diploma, Emily has since embarked on a personal artistic odyssey, further enriched by a brief study in art therapy at university. For her, creation is not just an outlet for emotions and intrusive thoughts; it's a vital, therapeutic tool.
Emily’s mission is to normalize art as a coping mechanism, a medium for reflection, and a space for playful experimentation. She advocates for unbridled, imperfect creativity, seeking to destigmatize mental illness and champion artistic expression as a liberating, judgment-free experience accessible to all.
