Acrylic and ink on paper.

Blue fields spread across the surface like tide pools or coral growth, while ink contours map the image with repeated rings, channels, and woodgrain-like currents. A bright yellow ground pushes through the composition in pockets, creating a sense of light behind sediment.

The centre reads as a figure-like structure formed from vertical bands and cut-out shapes, as if the image is opening and closing around a cavity. Smaller motifs, hands, eyes, and cellular marks, appear and dissolve within the layers, giving the work a feeling of systems in motion rather than a single scene.
